 A fun, friendly atmosphere with a touch of upscale feel. Our basic philosophy is to go back to basics: we make everything from scratch using all fresh ingredients, bake our own breads and desserts, and make all of our stocks. We pride ourselves on great food and friendly, professional service.

At Lake Street, we have two uniquely different dining rooms. The casual side is very colorful and bright, while the main dining room is more quaint with white linens and candles for ambiance. In keeping with the casually formal feel, our menus are placed in the front cover of old hardcover books, known to start a conversation at the table immediately. Our waitstaff use children's books for their specials and general information for their tables. Over the years, we have created quite an extensive wine list that has been recognized by the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence from 2003 to the present.
